Topic: Political Disarray and Fractured Party Politics
Moderator: Dan Miller, Former Florida Congressman
Ever-popular former Congressman Dan Miller returns to Einstein’s Circle to talk with us about why Congress appears to be so dysfunctional, the Freedom Caucus, committees, seniority, personal friendships and statesmanship. He’ll help us take another look at our political system and talk about consensus building, identifying qualified candidates and getting elected to political office.
We’ll talk about partisan politics and examine how it has progressively increased over the past few years and the prognosis for mitigating the damage that paralysis is having on Congress.

In keeping with the times, Einstein’s Circle focuses on events of interest people want to discuss. Introduced and led by facilitators expert in the subject matter, participants are invited to listen, to learn and to engage with each other in discussions relevant to medicine, law, science, finance, and politics. With an open mind being the only attendee prerequisite, participants are encouraged to make observations, ask questions, and express their opinions. Leave Facebook and Twitter at the door, it’s a no-nonsense attempt to separate the facts from the fiction. It’s stimulating; it’s fun, it’s important.
